Hello! Welcome to my home page.

On this site, you will find out about the services in writing and editing that I have to offer. In addition, I plan to post, from time to time, some interesting facts about the English language and some playful “tests” to see if you know how our language is supposed to work!

I also have a link called “Ask Allene” where you can ask me a specific question about grammar, spelling, or punctuation, or formating.

You will also find some links to Internet sites which have information to help you perfect your writing projects.

Now, take a moment to look in the About Me page so that we can get better acquainted. You’ll find it about three-quarters down on the left-hand column. You’ll see that I work out of the Phoenix area. Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek are my stomping grounds. And I have clients all over the country, too.
